The World Baseball Classic, a world baseball tournament, is currently (15 March 2023) being held, with games being played in Tokyo and the US. Japan’s national team, known as Samurai Japan, is through to the quarter-finals with an unbeaten record. Following the TOKYO 2020 Olympic Games held two summers ago, many reporters from overseas have visited Japan, and although the sports media reporters seem to be enjoying Tokyo for the first time since the Olympics, they are busy and don’t have time for sightseeing. The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games announced the ticket prices for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. All the ticket applications outside of Japan will be able to order through the National Olympic Committee of your own country or authorised ticket reseller. A list of these organisations in each country will be published by spring 2019 on the Tokyo 2020 official website. Ticket prices and the application process will vary from country to country, although the structure will be broadly in line with that for tickets purchased in Japan. Privacy Policy? GDPR? What is going on around us? Will this be affected us in Japan? Those were our initial reactions. We are based in Japan so we are not always familiar with the rules and regulations outside of Japan.
