Take a break at Aburi-mochi teahouse located between Daitokuji Temple and Imamiya Shrine in Kyoto.

Aburi-mochi are rice cakes on bamboo skewers, topped with white miso paste and “kinako”soybean flour, and grilled over a charcoal fire!

Be sure to try it when you visit Daitokuji Temple!

I visited the Chusonji Konjikido exhibition at the Tokyo National Museum. It is a small exhibition hall and I had to wait 30 minutes to enter.

When I visited Chuson-ji 2 years ago, there were not so many people there...

However, it was a valuable experience to be able to see the Buddhist statues right in front of me, which I had only been able to see from a distance at the site.

I think that everyone should go to Hiraizumi because it is less crowded there.

Today is an auspicious day where the "Tensha" day (#天赦日 : the day that the god will forgive all sins), "Ichiryu Manbai" day (#一粒万倍日 : a day of multiplied returns), and The Day of Tiger (#寅の日 ) align, creating a day of good fortune. I promptly visited the most powerful spiritual spot, the shrine, just after midnight.

It is said that this day is ideal for starting something new, whether it's buying a new purse, purchasing a lottery ticket, establishing a company, or holding a wedding ceremony.
