Gion Tsujiri: Established in 1860 at Uji where is the famous place of tea producing region of Kyoto. In 1948, they moved to Gion and has a relationship with Kenniji temple. They have only 3 shops including tea room in Kyoto and 2 shops in Tokyo.
Houji-cha is a roasted green tea. Enjoy rich roast aroma and taste with clear brown color.
*There are many Tsujiri products at supermarkets in Japan. Please note that they are mass production by big trading company, not Gion Tsujiri.
Gion Tsujiri has superior class of green tea a lot.
Please let me know if you would like to try higher quality. This item is standard but much higher than mass product.

Instruction of Use (Serve for 2 cups):
Put 1 bag into a mug or cup and pour hot water (not boiled) at around 80℃ and brew for 1.5 mins.
*Store in cool place, away from heat and humidity.
All products of Gion Tsujiri have a shorter expiration date than mass products as they always superior in quality and fresh.
